This FAQ helps you navigate resources on my website.

What is your book THE PLEASURE PLAN about?

THE PLEASURE PLAN is a memoir, sexual healing guide, and love story all wrapped up in one. For lots of information about my book, click here.

Do you see people one-on-one?

Yes, I do! I usually see clients for a single visit (remotely right now). I call these Sexual Healing Info Sessions. You can read about them here.

What are your qualifications?

I’m a Sexuality Educator and Certified Trauma Professional Certification, through the International Trauma Training Institute. I’m also a certified yoga instructor with additional training in crisis intervention, through the DC Rape Crisis Center. For the past twenty years, I’ve worked as a wellness trainer and coach. Clients include The American Psychological Association, Amnesty International, Verizon, Discovery Communications, and many other workplaces. As a workshop leader and facilitator, I’ve worked with traumatized populations including teens from conflict regions and women who’ve experienced assault in the military. I love working with individuals helping them figure out sexual health solutions for problems that might seem overwhelming, layered, or complex.

Do you offer free advice?

Absolutely. It’s my mission to get quality information out to the public. I do this through articles, blog posts, interviews conducted with me, and via social media. If you have a specific question or issue that needs addressing, and you can’t afford a one-on-one session, you can email it to me, using the contact form on my website. I will begin answering a few of these questions every month on my blog. I can’t guarantee I’ll get to your question, but I’ll try to get to as many as time allows. In lieu of that, see this blog post for How to Find a Sexual Healing Expert.

Can you help me find a sexual healing doctor?

Yes. See this post for information about finding a doctor who specializes in your issue.

Do you have resources for parents?

Many parents find it difficult or uncomfortable talking to their kids about sex. And the kids might be cringing too. Why not make this easier by using videos and other materials developed by sex ed professionals. Amaze.org has created terrific informational resources for young people. Check them out!

How do I find what I’m searching for on your blog?

Look at the categories list. If you don’t find what you’re looking for. Use the search function.

How can I get a signed copy of your book?

I made up these lovely bookplates so that people can get a signed copy, even during the pandemic! I’m offering them right now to bookclubs with 10 or more members that choose my book. If that’s you and your club, and you’d like to schedule a visit, click here. I’d love to visit with you all!

I hope these are helpful! If you have other questions you’d like me to add to this list, please email me.

Yours in pleasure,

Laura
