Episode 5 - HOW TO BRAVE INTIMACY AFTER TRAGEDY, TRAUMA OR CHANGE
My guest this week on Sexual Healing Central is Abby Maslin, who is the author of the esteemed memoir #LoveYouHard. Abby’s beautiful husband, and the father of her 2-year-old little boy, went to a baseball game one night and never came home. Eventually, she learned her husband had been brutally attacked, sustaining a traumatic brain injury. He could no longer walk, or even speak. In my interview with her, Abby shares so much wisdom and hope for individuals, couples, and families dealing with difficult circumstances. How can we find our way back to connection and healthy intimacy with our partners? How can we keep our vibrant selves alive during these trials? Is there a key to all resilience?
